Post-Fourth of July Neighborhood Cleanup
Make a Big Impact Right in Your Neighborhood
Every year after the July 4th holiday, our beaches, parks, and streets see a surge in litter. That’s where you come in. We’re inviting all 16 neighborhoods in Walton County to help restore our beautiful community by hosting a Post-Fourth of July Neighborhood Cleanup with the help from Keep Walton County Beautiful (KWCB). Your neighborhood can be part of an effort to help protect our shared spaces and show pride in Walton County. Together, we can make a visible difference and have fun doing it!
Want to Host a Cleanup But Not Sure Where to Start?
We'll partner with you to make it easy. When you sign up to host your own cleanup, KWCB can help by providing:
- Cleanup supplies (trash bags, gloves, grabbers, etc.)
- Promotional materials (shirts, graphics, etc.)
- Guidance on timing and safety
Even if you’re just one person, we’ll work with you to get a cleanup going.
What to Expect:
- You choose from a list of provided dates and areas
- We’ll help promote your cleanup on our website, social channels, and newsletter
- After the event, let us know how it went (amount of trash collected, photos from cleanup, number of volunteers, etc.) and we’ll celebrate your success
